Dapitan's Pride boodle

My family is not fond of trying out new restaurants or whatever unless it is always recommended by their friends. Thus, I have sworn to myself that I'll treat them to something new every payday. And for last month's, I decided to let them try a boodle from Blackbeard's Seafood Island.

First, there was a generous amount of serving for each type of food. The smaller boodle can be for 3-5 people depending on each person's capacity to take in food. Second, the liempo, squid, crab, and tilapia all tasted great. The shrimp is also undeniably fresh (according to mama). We all liked it. However, we all felt that the san mig clams tasted bland, while the laing lacked coconut milk and other spices.

Overall, the food was okay, just okay. I'll try this restaurant again, but not this dish.
