That said, I opted for the safe choices: pizza, pasta, lamb chops (because I don't remember its taste), and a cheesecake.
Parmigiano pizza |
The pizza, well, tasted like pizza - nothing out of the extraordinary. Don't get me wrong, I'm just saying that... you know, it should taste like pizza because pizza is what you ordered. Am I making sense here? HAHAHA if it means anything, Cibo's pizza doesn't leave an oily feel to your mouth - unlike most pizzas.
Pasta alla romana |
Initially, I was worried that my brother and father won't like the pasta because I ordered the sardine- based one. It turned out to be a "crowd-favorite" HAHAHA my mom actually tried to remake the recipe upon going home. The sardine-based pasta is now a staple pasta flavor at home :)
Lamb chop |
My parents doesn't like lamb. Maybe that is the reason why I don't remember having eaten lamb before. My brother and I think that lamb meat tastes like, hmmm, meat - nothing fancy, nothing disgusting. You know, lamb. I kind of liked it though.
Cheesecake |
Ordering the cheesecake (or any dessert for that matter) was a good idea. It resets your tastebuds so you don't get drowned with the flavors of the main courses. One slice is enough for everybody; after all, it will just act as a "break" for the main show. Am I still intelligible? HAHAHA
So yeah, my family and I liked Cibo. We'll definitely go back.
